The following are Orcas Senior Center service numbers since March, the beginning of the pandemic:
- Total # of Buddy Check-In volunteer hours = 730
- Total # of Buddy Check-In phone calls = 3,929
- Total # of home delivered meals = 8,235 (same time period in 2019 = 2,432)—this, by the way has surpassed our projected number of home delivered meals. We projected 7,779 home delivered meals from February 2020 to February 2021 (see appeal attached infographic).
- Total # of miles driven for home delivered meals = 4,378
