The Orcas Horns (along with the Greatest Rhythm Section in the Universe) are hosting a Surprise Birthday Dance/Party for Gene Nery!
(Shhhhhhhhhh. Don’t tell Gene! Let’s try to keep this a secret!)
The band will be playing its popular funky, jazzy dance music, and will be joined by some special guest musicians. The dance/party starts at 8 pm on November 20th at the Oddfellows Hall. Tickets are $12 in advance (available now at Darvill’s Bookstore), and $15 at the door. (Room capacity is limited, and seeing as the band sold out Orcas Center last month, advanced tickets are recommended.)
Come join the fun, shake your booty and give your well wishes to one of Orcas Island’s most talented musicians, the Amazing Gene Nery. (Can you believe he’s turning 50??)
