Join us at the San Juan Islands Sculpture Park on Wednesday, July 3 from 8-10am for our monthly bird walk with avid birder, Tyler Davis, leading the walk.
Tyler tells us, “A lot of nestlings have fledged in the last month, making early July a great time to get out and see this year’s baby birds exploring the big wide world and figuring things out. Young swallows, for example, may pick up a feather and play “catch” as they hone their flying skills!”
Bird walks will be every first Wednesday of the month through October. The Sculpture Park at Roche Harbor is open from dawn to dusk. All are welcome, including children and dogs. There is no admission, but donations are greatly appreciated.
