From the Orcas Island School District
Due to the current forecast for snow this morning [Jan. 20] before a shift to ice pellets and rain, the decision has been made to close all schools on Orcas Island for Friday, January 20th.
Reports from several areas of Island indicate freezing rain and snow have begun to fall, please drive carefully if you do venture out on the roads.
