Bridget Broderick and family
Bridget moved to Orcas Island with her family of five in the fall of 2018. She has three children currently attending Orcas Island School District.
Her background is elementary education. She taught 3rd and 4th grade for the Anchorage School District for many years and currently works remotely with adult students who are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Elementary Education. She will also be pursuing her second Masters this spring in Instructional Design,
Bridget joined the Orcas Island School Board in the spring of 2020. She is incredibly proud of the OISD staff and their ongoing commitment to support students and families throughout a global pandemic and ever-changing educational landscape.
Her hope for OISD, as we spring forward into the coming years, is continued emphasis on the social and emotional health of our students and staff, and working to build on the synergy of our district and amazing community.
