The San Juan County Parks & Fair Department continues to streamline ways to help you participate in the County Fair. With online pre-registration for entries and a new pick-up and drop-off service on Orcas, Lopez and Shaw, it’s never been easier to be part of the Fair!
ONLINE ENTRY AND REGISTRATION
Now you can enter your exhibits into the Fair early and online. Visit https://fairentry.com/Fair/
“We implemented online registration and entry for Fair items make it easier to collect items from the entire County,” explains Parks & Fair Director Brandon Andrews. “Additionally, as locals begin to use the program and enter their items online, it means fewer lines and shorter wait times on the traditional ‘Entry Day’.”
ONLINE ENTRY AND REGISTRATION HELP EVENTS
- Tuesdays in July, 5:00 – 7:00PM
- San Juan County Fairgrounds (849 Argyle Ave) in the Marie Boe Building
- No sign-up required, just show up and staff & volunteers will be ready to help!
ORCAS, LOPEZ, AND SHAW ISLAND PICK-UP & DROP-OFF
This year, the San Juan County’s Parks & Fair Department will pick-up and drop-off non-perishable Fair entries from Orcas, Lopez, and Shaw Islands.
“We want to remove as many barriers as possible for residents to enter their passions and hobbies into the Fair,” Andrews said. “We understand that most people can’t spend a day riding the ferry back-and-forth to both drop-off and pick-up their entry items. So, we’ll come to you for both! We really hope to start seeing a lot more entries from the entire County.”
