The Salish Sea Early Music Festival presents Flute Concerti by Bach, Vivaldi and Aubert with chamber orchestra on Wednesday, May 22 at 5 PM at the Orcas Adventist Fellowship Church in Eastsound as the seventh program in this year’s festival of early music performed on period instruments.

Baroque orchestral music from Germany, France and Italy from the early 18th century featuring soloists baroque violinist Elizabeth Phelps and baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan (flute) to be included are Antonio Vivaldi’s Flute Concerto “La Notte” (“The Night”), the Concerto in G Major by Jacques Aubert and the Concerto in D Minor by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach. Other musicians include violist Victoria Gunn from Oregon and cellist Martin Bonham from Victoria, BC.

The concert takes place on Wednesday, May 22 at 5:00 PM at the Orcas Adventist Fellowship Church at 107 Enchanted Forest Road in Eastsound.
