April 19 is another national day of action to protest the madness being propagated by our national government. The Friday Harbor Indivisible group is holding a march that day, and we on Orcas will march to express solidarity with the rest of the country and to foster our own sense of community.
We will meet at the Village Green at 2:00 on Saturday, April 19, then we will march on the sidewalk around Eastsound. We encourage you to bring signs to carry and to get to know others while walking.
Hoping to see you next Saturday at the Village Green at 2:00.

The following question was asked about this event: Will there be any time at the Green before or after the walk that mobility impaired folks can also participate in? To answer, after the march we will form a circle in the Green and give folks a chance to speak.
If the number of people who showed up on April 5 show up tomorrow, it will be difficult if not impossible to confine the march to Eastsound sidewalks.
