Deer Harbor Road near West Sound Bridge

  • Who: Public Works Department working with Mike Carlson Enterprises Inc.
  • What: Deer Harbor Road will be closed to thru traffic and will also be subject to intermittent 15-minute closures to all traffic during working hours. The road will be re-opened to traffic at the end of each workday.
  • When: Anticipated Dates: September 20 through September 30.
  • Where: Just east of West Sound Bridge on Deer Harbor Road.
  • Why: The roadway embankment, retaining walls, and drainage systems are failing.
  • Repairs are needed to keep the road open to the public.
