— from Justin Cox for SeaDoc Society —

As we announced this spring, our annual Wine & Sea Auction was cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We wish we could see you in person this year, especially because it’s our 20-year anniversary, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be celebrating! We’ve been hard at work on a COVID-friendly alternative, and registration is open.

Our team has put together a virtual live program that will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17. The evening will be hosted by our Science Director Joe Gaydos and auction favorite Jim Donald, plus cameos by other charismatic megafauna! We’ll look back at 20 years of inspiring work that you’ve made possible and we’ll look forward to what’s ahead for all species that call the Salish Sea home—ourselves included.

There are two registration options:

  • ‘Registration and Wine’ includes admission to the live Zoom event, plus one bottle of Coeur de Terre Pinot Gris, one bottle of a specially labeled ded.rekoning No. 12 Red Mountain Reserve 2013, and two custom SeaDoc wine glasses, all mailed to you.* $75
  • ‘Registration Only’ includes admission to the live Zoom event. $5
