Update at 8 a.m. Aug. 14: Council to meet with State Reps at 10:15 a.m.

The San Juan County Council will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, August 14 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. However, Council Member Rick Hughes says, “We will open the meeting at 9 a.m. and then recess from 9:15 a.m. until after the Anacortes ferry arrives (10:05 a.m.) at 10 a.m.If you are planning to attend our special meeting today with the 40th [Legislative District] elected officials, we will not be starting the meeting until 10:30 a.m.”
State Representatives Kris Lytton and Jeff Morris and State Senator Kevin Ranker will join County Council representatives to discuss and plan the 2014-2016 legislative priorities.
The meeting will be held in the County’s Legislative Hearing Room at 55 Second Street in Friday Harbor, across from the County Courthouse.
Following the meeting’s planned adjournment at noon, the Council and guests will visit the San Juan County Fair.
