The Orcas Island School District Board of Directors has announced a Special School Board Meeting to act upon the Grounds and Maintenance Technician position, which has become open.
The person holding this position will perform maintenance operations of all district facilities and maintain district grounds, park, fields and landscaped areas to provide a healthy and safe school environment. He or she will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager. This is a classified Public School Employee position, with the employment agreement renewable annually; the hourly wage is determined by PSE Negotiated Agreement. An employee benefit package is available.
The meeting will be Friday, Dec. 4 at 8:30 a.m. in the Middle School Home Economics Room. The meeting is open to the public.
The next regular School Board Meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15 in the School Library.
