Deer Harbor Road near West Sound Bridge
- Who: Public Works Department working with Mike Carlson Enterprises Inc.
- Onsite construction supervisor: Jeff Sharp, (360) 298-4710, jeffs@sanjuanco.com
- What: Deer Harbor Road will be closed to thru traffic and will also be subject to intermittent 15-minute closures to all traffic during working hours. The road will be re-opened to traffic at the end of each workday.
- When: Anticipated Dates: September 20 through September 30.
- Where: Just east of West Sound Bridge on Deer Harbor Road.
- Why: The roadway embankment, retaining walls, and drainage systems are failing.
- Repairs are needed to keep the road open to the public.
