San Juan County Department of Community Development will host a public meeting on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Deer Harbor Community Club, 4319 Deer Harbor Road, Orcas Island, to present and take comments on the proposed update of the Deer Harbor Hamlet Plan.
The draft Deer Harbor Plan was developed in conjunction with the Deer Harbor Hamlet Plan Review Committee (DHHPRC).
The Deer Harbor Hamlet Plan establishes the community’s vision of its future and identifies specific goals, policies, and actions to implement that vision.
The updated Hamlet Plan streamlines and reorganizes the current plan. The updated document is available online at: https://sanjuanco.com/1146/Deer-Harbor-Hamlet
