A welcome change from cooking (and cleaning up) at home, might be to share Thanksgiving Dinner at one of the local Orcas eateries. Consider these generous options:

COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER

(Thursday, November 24; 4:30 pm @ Odd Fellows Hall)

Everyone is welcome! Odd Fellows will supply the turkeys and tableware. Everyone else brings their beverage of choice and a dish to share. Suggested potluck contributions: If your last name begins with:

A – G Your favorite side dish (mashed potatoes, yams, veggies, etc.)

H – R Salad or bread/rolls

S – Z Dessert

Note: Feel free to bring your famous specialty dish instead of the suggested one if you would prefer.

Allium is now accepting reservations for Thanksgiving Dinner, $45 for 3 courses, food only.

THANKSGIVING AT THE MANSION RESTAURANT AT ROSARIO

(Thursday, November 24; served 3 pm – 8 pm)

A Traditional Rosario Buffet Feast with Chef Carving Station. Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, Salt Crusted Prime Rib, Butternut Squash and Apple Soup,Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Turkey Giblet Gravy, Maple-Glazed Acorn Squash, Bartlett Pear and Roasted Chestnut Dressing, Brussel Sprouts with Applewood-Smoked Bacon and Walnuts, Warm Butter Popovers, Citrus Cranberry Chutney, Mixed Baby Greens with Buck Bay Beets and Gorgonzola Cheese, Creamy Pumpkin Pie with Poached Cranberries, Mini Caramel Pecan Pie, Guittard Dark Chocolate Ganache Tartlets. $45 per person (plus tax).
