— from Economic Development Council —
The big news this week is that the deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has been extended to August 8, as of July 6. As of Monday there was $130 billion in the program.
As a reminder, businesses work with lenders to apply for PPP loans. The SBA provides a Lender Match tool to find Community Development Financial Institutions and small lenders for PPP. We have also seen some online lenders have updated their websites and are taking new applications. Check our Facebook page for updates as we receive them.
PPP materials are available in 17 other languages.
