Orcas Island Park and Recreation District Commission will hold a special public meeting, on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Enzo’s Gallery Caffe, Eastsound from 9 to 10 a.m.
The OIPRD, a municipal corporation, has been exploring a loan in the amount of $65,000 from the Port of Orcas, a municipal corporation. The terms of the loan will be expressed in the form of an “Interlocal Agreement” between the two government entities, the agreement has been prepared by the Port’s legal counsel.
The OIPRD commissioners wish to review in detail the agreement and must do so at a public meeting.
