The Orcas Island Park & Recreation District (OIPRD) plans meetings next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The meetings will be held at different locations, and the public is welcome at all public sessions of the meetings.
A Special Meeting on Tuesday, July 12, from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. at the Funhouse has an agenda including:
- minutes workshop,
- Buck Park inter-local agreement with Orcas Island School District(OISD)
- Executive (closed) session to discuss personnel and office space rental.
A Special Joint Meeting with the OISD Board of Directors meets on Wednesday, July 13, from 5 to 7 P.M. (depending upon OISD scheduling) at the OISD library. The Buck Park inter-local agreement with OISD will be the subject of the joint session.
The OIPRD’s Regular Public Meeting will take place on Thursday, July 14, from noon to 2 P.M. at the Eastsound Fire Station to discuss the proposed $65,000 loan agreement with the Port of Orcas.
