The Board of Directors of the Orcas Island School District will hold a Special Meeting this Thursday, Nov. 7, at 4 p.m. in the Orcas School Library.
The meeting, open to the public, will concern Superintendent Barbara Kline’s recent announcement that she plans to retire at the end of June, 2014; and a board discussion about her replacement.
