Orcas Island poets have until Feb. 25 to submit their work for a public reading in April.
The reading, held In celebration of National Poetry Month, will be the second Annual Local Poets Showcase on Saturday, April 11, in Orcas Center’s OffCenter Stage. Fifteen to twenty poets will have the opportunity to share their original poems in a 3-5 minute reading.
Interested poets are invited to submit their work to be considered for this juried presentation. Please email 3-5 poems totaling no more than 5 single-spaced pages to JoEllen Moldoff at moldoff@rockisland.com by February 25. Include your name, phone number, email and mailing address.
