Terry Johnson, Orcas resident and art professor, is the recipient of Best In Show award from the San Fernando Valley Arts and Culture Center’s new CHIAROSCURO exhibition.
“Since this is a national call, I am pleased to be considered at all let alone be awarded the Best In Show award,” he offered.
The title of the painting is “Artist Cleaning Brushes, Self Portrait” (58″ x 43″, Oil on Canvas, $9000).
Johnson will resume his weekly classes at Orcas Center as soon as the COVID crisis permits. A website is soon forthcoming, but in the interim he can be reached via email at proftj198@gmail.com.
