— from Phil Heikkinen —
As part of our building expansion project, contractors began spraying foam insulation in the new addition on Monday, February 13. They hope to complete the process by the 15th, though it is possible that the work will continue until the 16th.
In being cautious about possible fumes affecting Library users, we were closed on the 13th. After evaluating impacts from the spraying, we are happy to announce that we will reopen for the rest of the week.
Our existing building shows very little impact from fumes due to the spraying. However, we want to encourage anyone who notices fumes and has any concerns to limit their time spent at the Library during this week.
Thanks for your patience! Please call us with any questions. Phil Heikkinen, Library Director, 360-376-4985.
