Orcas Island Film Festival announces film line up

The Orcas Island Film Festival

October 6-10, 2022

This year we are proud to present 8 documentary films and 28 feature films from 25 countries.

Legendary actress Jacqueline Bisset will headline the film festival to present her most recent film LOREN + ROSE with director Russell Brown. Guests will attend from Bad Axe, Sam Now, Wildcat and other films.

We will be presenting the top award winners from major film festivals including Cannes (Triangle of Sadness, Close, EO, Decision to Leave, Broker); Venice (All The Beauty and the Bloodshed, The Banshees of Inisherin, Tár); Berlin (Alcarràs); Sundance (All That Breathes).

Official Oscar Submission Films for Best International Film will be showcased from around the world including Corsage (Austria); Close (Belgium); The Quiet Girl (Ireland); EO (Poland); Alcarràs (Spain); Decision to Leave (South Korea).

We will also be presenting a special tribute and remembrance to honorary festival director Jean-Marc Vallee to celebrate his impact on the festival and to the world with his unforgettable filmmaking accomplishments from his early award-winning film C.R.A.Z.Y. to Dallas Buyers Club to Sharp Objects and Big Little Lies.

OIFF takes place in one of the most beautiful places in the world – anchored by the quaint village of Eastsound where film lovers can wander, reflect and digest films as well as enjoy its farm-to-table restaurants, food vendors, bars, and shops.
