||| FROM ALICIA WIGFIELD for ORCAS ISLAND COMMUNITY CHURCH |||

Orcas Island Community Church invites the community to journey with us through Holy Week. This sacred week of reflection, remembrance, and celebration marks the heart of the Christian story — the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

All are welcome to participate in any or all of the following services:

  • Palm Sunday – April 13 at 10:00 AM
A joyful celebration of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, marking the beginning of Holy Week.
  • Maundy Thursday – April 17 at 6:30 PM
A contemplative service remembering Jesus’ Last Supper and his command to love and serve one another.
  • Good Friday – April 18 at 6:30 PM
A solemn service reflecting on the crucifixion of Jesus and the depth of his sacrifice.
  • Holy Saturday Prayer Vigil – April 19 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A quiet space for prayer, reflection, and preparation for Easter. Come and go as needed.
  • Easter Sunday – April 20 at 5:45 AM & 10:00 AM
We’ll begin the day with a Sunrise Service on Mt. Constitution, followed by our main service of celebration at 10:00 AM in the OICC Sanctuary.

Each service offers a unique opportunity to experience the richness of the season and to encounter God’s grace in fresh ways. Whether you’re new to faith or have long walked the journey, Holy Week at OICC is a time for all to gather, remember, and rejoice.
