To my friends and neighbors and fellow tax payers. In April we will be presented with a tax levy proposal for fire/ems protection. This levy is vital to the Fire Department. This levy will provide a basic operations budget for OIFR. Failure to pass would set OIFR back at least a decade
Certainly we will all vote yes on the new levy. We do need to see some equipment needs information from our board. Is it 10 cents, is it 20 cents/thousand ?.
We need to give our Chief enough equipment captial to roll through the next 5 years.
