Join kids and counselors from Camp Orkila and Kaleidoscope for “Open Garden Gate Thursdays” in the public school garden from 9:30 to 3:30 each Thursday until August 27 to harvest, weed, water and play. All kids welcome with adult supervision.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS IN THE GARDEN
July 23 – 11 to 1 pm – Making Calendula Salve • $10 fee to cover costs. Everyone will take home salve made from the flowers in the garden!August 13 – 11 to 1 – Art in the Garden • Free!
August 27 – 11 to 1 – Worm Bin, Compost, Soil Wellness • Free!
Kids always welcome with adult supervision for all workshops and garden days.
Also, the school garden will once again be selling (for donations to the school garden) produce from the school garden at the Farmers Market on July 25th so look for us then with another batch of zucchini, potatoes, assorted lettuces, more garlic, edible flowers and a lot more!
