District 2 (Orcas, Orcas, Armitage, Big Double, Blakely, Fawn, Little Double and Obstruction Islands) elections are coming up on Saturday, May 5.
The Board has appointed a nominating committee of three members from District 2; the deadline to submit your name to the nominating committee is Monday, February 27. If you are interested, please call Susannah Beck at 376-3549.
In addition to the candidates nominated by committee, any 15 or more members from District 2 may make other nominations with a signed petition filed at the Eastsound office no later than March 21.
