With a message of “one world, one tribe, one rhythm” Michael Goude, Earthtribe percussion will bring his unique drum circle facilitation to the Odd Fellow’s Hall Friday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Empowering participants through creative expression and community building, the evening will be a great experience for all ages. Michael has studied with African master drummers Mamady Keita and Famadou Konate and Arthur Hull, the father of modern drum circle facilitation. He has traveled to West Africa to study the culture and music of the Mande people and is a 2X Hawaii Facilitator playshop graduate.
Michael is a master drum builder and Earthtribe Percussion’s mission is to find and produce the highest quality of West African instruments in the world.
Drums and other percussion instruments will be available to play — or bring your own.
Sponsored by Orcas Island Prevention Partnership – a Community Coalition of Partners helping to create a safe and healthy community.
Donations at the door. Refreshments available.
