Festivities begin in front of the Community Center at 10 am on Saturday, July 20.

||| FROM SUSAN GORDON for OLGA DAZE |||

Come for breakfast at the bake sale, featuring our world famous maple bars made on the spot. Stay for lunch then come back to the bake sale for dessert.

The parade starts at 12:00 and features an OIFR fire truck. Everyone is invited to join in and silly hats and other zany attire are encouraged!

Live music will be performed from 10:00 to 2:00 featuring our Island’s own talented musicians. Children’s games and face painting will take place throughout the day – lots of fun and prizes!

An Olga Daze tradition is the raffle of a beautiful handmade quilt. Raffle tickets are available now most weekends outside of Island Market and on July 20th until 1:30. The drawing will be about 1:45 and the winner does not need to be present.

Expect a fantastic Barn/Yard Sale with lots of great stuff at bargain prices. If you would like to donate goods for the sale, drop-off days are July 11 and 12 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Olga Park near the red and white shed.  No clothes, books or exercise equipment please. Any questions or to donate large items please call Lynn or Steve Emmes, 360-376-146

This year’s Olga Daze will include an “Olga Grown” table featuring plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables. We would love donations from your garden! If you are able to help please text or call Karen Miksch, 612-805-4615.

Come enjoy Olga Daze then spend the rest of the day exploring our beautiful community. There’s lots going on in Olga this summer – the
newly reopened and beautifully restored Olga Store, the Olga Artworks and Lascaux Cafe, Olga Pottery, our historic dock, Buck Bay
Shellfish, hiking at the Coho preserve or just strolling around.

All proceeds from Olga Daze support the Olga Community Club and its historic building.
