Bring your donations for Olga Daze! This year’s celebration will be Saturday, July 21, rain or shine. Donations will be accepted from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, July 5; Friday, July 6; Thursday, July 12; and Friday, July 13.
Included in the festivities are food, live music, a quilt raffle, fun for kids, a parade, and a very large “Barn Sale.” The barn sale offers treasures for everyone: toys, tools, kitchen items, household decorations and more.
Bring clean items, in good working order, to the Olga Park next to the Olga Community Club. Please do not bring clothes or books. Furniture is accepted only if you are willing to take it back if it does not sell. If you are unable to drop off on the above days or if pick-up is required, contact Steve Emmes at 376-1461 make special arrangements.
A tradition of Olga Daze is to raffle a beautiful handmade quilt. Raffle tickets are on sale—and the quilt is on display—outside Island Market every weekend between now and July 15. Tickets will also be sold at Olga Daze. The drawing will take place at Olga Daze but the winner need not be present to win.
All of the proceeds of Olga Daze go toward maintaining the century-old Olga Community Club building, one of the historical treasures of Orcas Island.

Ah, another wonderful Olga Daze coming up. Does everyone remember the Olga Daze when all the staff at the Artworks Cafe wore Marcy’s wonderful cinnamon buns on their heads as hats?
