The Music Advocacy Group sends holiday greetings to the Orcas Community, and wants to share the virtual Holiday Concert of the OISD strings program with you.
We are so proud of our music students for their new skills and for continuing with their music learning in this unprecedented school year, and commend Pamela Wright, the director of the OISD strings program, for her time and effort in creating this virtual concert — see the link below.
MAG thanks the school, parents and community for your continued support. Enjoy!

BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO! To Pamela Wright and her brave and dedicated young musician troops, and to MAG for their support, too!!
Ditto Margaret’s posting! I’m so impressed with the dedication of all involved and the students progression was a gift to experience. Thank you Pamela and the Mag Board and advisors.
…and to the student musicians a special call out to all!
Wonderful performance by the students, kudos to Ms. Wright and the folks that put this together. In this time of virtual learning, it is amazing that the students are able to continue honing their musical skills. We really enjoyed the performances.
This warmed my heart- many thanks to everyone involved!
Many thanks to Pamela Wright and the string musicians at Orcas School. We watched this as our New Year’s Eve celebration, and it was a bright and shining end to a rather peculiar year.
