||| FROM KAT BARNARD for ORCAS ISLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT |||

The Orcas Island Volunteer Firefighter/EMT Association will host the Annual Fly-In Pancake Breakfast the weekend of August 5 and 6. All are welcome to come to the Eastsound Fire Station at 45 Lavender Lane Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 11 am for delicious pancakes, sausage, and eggs your way!

The Fire Station is directly across from the airport, where many will be flying in, so come enjoy the airplanes and breakfast with firefighters! Adults are $10, children $7, and under 7-year-olds eat free.

OIFR volunteers will be out on the apron with their apparatus to give fire engine and ambulance tours, answer questions about our services, and inspire the next generation of first responders. The Association will have “Proud Supporter” t-shirts and Orcas Island road maps for sale. Thank you in advance for all your support!

Questions about the Pancake Breakfast or the Volunteer Association can be directed to OIVFEA@gmail.com. For further information about the Fly-In, please contact Dwight Guss at (360) 317-5970 or Gil Blinn at (360) 376-6579.
