||| FROM ORCAS ISLAND FILM FEST |||
As the world is rapidly changing and things are opening up, we are excited to announce that we will indeed host a festival this year! Our dates are set for Oct. 7-11, 2021. We will proceed with the utmost caution and follow the current local and state health guidance as October rolls around. Stay tuned for when our pass sales will open.
Last weekend we co-hosted a fantastic 4th of July celebration with a Spectacular Laser Light show at the OIFF Drive-In Theatre at Mt. Baker Farm. It was a beautiful slice of the best of our community. Kids and families free to roam, go for a train ride, dance to our local talented musicians, and eat some delicious food! We made a memory we all will cherish.
We can’t wait to get back out there in the field for the Drive-In. We have two great films for you coming up on July 16 & 17. “The Princess Bride” the hilarious 1987 classic & a brand new film “Playing with Sharks: The Valerie Taylor Story.”
Thanks to a generous donor we were able to upgrade our projector and show films like “Playing with Sharks” that you will get to see before their official theatrical release! This is amazing!!

We can’t wait to see you!
THE PRINCESS BRIDE
COMEDY | USA | 1987
Friday, July 16 (at dusk)
A fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. He must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other. Based on the William Goldman novel “The Princess Bride” which earned its own loyal audience.
The Princess Bride is a deft, intelligent mix of swashbuckling, romance, and comedy that takes an age-old damsel-in-distress story and makes it fresh. A cult classic!
