Exciting news for Orcas Island and the hardworking team at the Orcas Island Film Festival. The USA TODAY panel of event experts has narrowed down the list of top 20 U.S. film festivals, and our beloved Orcas Island Film Festival made their list! We are in good company; other film fests on the list include Sundance, SXSW, and the Austin Film Festival.
Organizers are encouraging islanders and supporters to vote for our film fest ONCE PER DAY, EVERY DAY, until voting ends on March 20th so that we place in the final top ten.
The Orcas Island Film Festival is run by dedicated volunteers and serves our islands by bringing the magic of film and indie filmmakers to the San Juan Islands.
