Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Village Green

As part of the 2015 Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce Bird Fest, islanders, craftsmen and artists are invited to make a house or feeder or bath for the birds and show the finished items at the Village Green this Saturday.

Please note: There are no rules for this contest!

Simply make, gather and show your bird house/feeder/bath around the Village Green/Museum on Saturday May 2nd – 10 a.m. till 2pm – Expect admiration, glory, and awards!

Special consideration will be given for effort, craftsmanship, creativity, marching in the parade, youth, age, costumes, injuries incurred, complexity, simplicity, repurpose, and obvious lack of talent.

Get started now! Contact a project cheerleader for inspiration, guidance, help, materials, glue, and expertise;
