The next Be Ready Orcas – Disaster Preparedness Community Meeting will be on Wednesday, February 13 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Eastsound Firehall.
Fire Chief, Scott Williams of Orcas Island Fire & Rescue will be presenting on the department’s current capabilities, limitations, and planned strategies for emergency preparedness and community support. Presentation will be followed by relevant Q & A regarding OIFR’s role in disaster preparedness and response.
