— from JoEllen Moldoff–
…Poetry arrived
in search of me. I don’t know, I don’t know where
it came from, from winter or a river…
—Pablo Neruda
In this class, we will read, discuss and write poems. By creating the opportunity and spark for words to come together, we will make discoveries and begin to develop our poems.
“Poems arrive. They hide in feelings and images…daring us to notice and give them form with our words.”
— Susan Goldsmith Wooldridge (author of Poem Crazy)
