Terry Johnson, retired professor of art from Cornish College, will be offering a Drawing Course beginning February 3. Designed for beginners, it is also a good remedial course for those who want to update their drawing skills, and is a prerequisite for the Painting Course which Johnson teaches year-round at Orcas Center.
Prof. Johnson has taught this course over 100 times and continues to refine and update the syllabus. The course is very structured and requires serious attention over the eight-week duration. Most students then go on to participate in the Painting Course. Many of the painting students have studied with Johnson for eight-ten years.
The location will be determined by the number of students enrolled. Times are Mondays, February 3 to March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
