Get your art on!  The popular Edge Arts alternative group art show returns to Orcas Center and its opening night exhibition promises to be a fabulous evening highlighting some of the best local art and creative folks found on Orcas. The opening starts at 5:30 pm and goes into the evening. There will be stellar beer from the island’s favorite local beer masters – Island Hoppin’ Brewery – available for purchase as well as delicious wood-fired pizza for sale. Come early and make it a full night!

Fall Brunch for Working Farms Tour at The Kitchen, 9-11 am. Charles is at it again!  The menu includes: Pomme-Mosa (apple,champagne cocktail); honey almond cinnamon rolls; buttermilk pancakes with Italian prune plum syrup; egg, potato, pesto and onion torta; stir fried greens; pear slices; & Strong coffee!  Priced by donation ($5-$10 sliding scale).

Orcas Crossroads Lecture Series will have its next lecture at 2 pm, at Orcas Center. Dr. Daniel Kammen will explore innovations in and barriers to building renewable energy systems worldwide.
