Do you need help getting insurance under the new Affordable Care Act? Are you having trouble using the Washington HealthPlanFinder website? Have you tried to apply online and received an error message? Are you confused about the insurance options that are available to you?
Trained volunteers will be at the Orcas Public Library to help you this Saturday from 1 until 5 p.m. in the Community Room. To help them assist you, bring the social security numbers for all members of your family and a copy of your most recent tax return with you.
In addition, there are three locations in Eastsound where islanders who have been trained on using the Washington HealthPlanFinder are available to help you apply online for your insurance. You can find out if you are eligible for free health care or for tax credits to reduce your insurance cost.
