The Gathering of the Eagles, the Native American Canoe Journey you read about here a few weeks ago, is less than a week away.  The landing will take place about 3:00 at the dock in Olga on Wednesday, May 24.  After a welcoming ceremony, there will be a community potluck dinner at about 5:00 at the Community Club in Olga. 

If you want to attend the dinner, please plan on bringing a dish to share, and we advise bringing your own chairs or blanket and, if you can, your own utensils.  At about 6:00, the evening program will begin. 

Later that evening the group will head over to the Taylor property to continue the evening around a big fire.  Extra chairs or blankets will be needed here as well.  If you think you will stay past 9:00, you will definitely want to bring a flashlight.
