Harpsichordist Jan Weinhold
The Salish Sea Early Music Festival presents harpsichordist Jan Weinhold from Lübeck, Germany and baroque flutist Jeffrey Cohan in The Bach Family, with music by Johann Sebastian Bach and sons Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach performed on period instruments on Monday, March 5 at 7:00 PM at Orcas Center in the Madrona Room in Eastsound (please see above for Lopez and San Juan Islands).
The program will include sonatas for flute and harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach and sons Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, performed on period instruments. The program will include harpsichord solos, and on Lopez Island, organ solos on the copy of an 18th-century organ at Grace Church.
