Native American ceremonial gathering and workshop with leaders and traditional healers, Alex Turtle (Navajo and Southern Cheyenne) and Chenoa Egawa (Lummi and S’Kallam) . 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Orcas Mandala Yoga Studio. Tharald Historic Homestead Tours on Shaw Island from 1 to 3:30 p.m.Boyd Pratt, architectural historian, will be available to provide historical background on the homestead which appears in the National Register of Historic Places and is protected by an Historic Preservation Easement held by the San Juan County Land Bank, which invites the public to view the homestead. Orcas Horns play at Gene Nery Birthday Bash The band will be playing its popular funky, jazzy dance music, and will be joined by some special guest musicians. The dance/party starts at 8 pm on November 20th at the Oddfellows Hall. Tickets are $12 in advance (available now at Darvill’s Bookstore), and $15 at the door. (Room capacity is limited, and seeing as the band sold out Orcas Center last month, advanced tickets are recommended.)

Ocho Cortado from 3 to 4 p.m. This classic pattern in tango is fun musical and great for navigation, learn the basic and a few variations. $10 per class per person.
