See Merideth Kaye Clark in concert at Orcas Center Sunday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. Clark recently recorded her version of Joni Mitchell’s album BLUE, and is currently traveling around the country performing this iconic collection, played from beginning to end, in the original keys. Tickets have been selling out all over the country – a must see summer concert at Orcas Center.

Clark combines her theatre work with concerts across the US.  She performs in many styles, including contemporary musical theatre, classical, Broadway standards, country, bluegrass, and folk. Merideth is a multi-instrumentalist and plays anything with strings, most notably the guitar and viola. Her sophomore album “Young Stellar Object” garnered critical praise from New York theater reviewers. In concert she will be singing all of your favorite Joni Mitchell songs from BLUE: “All I Want,” “My Old Man,” “Little Green,” “Carey,” “Blue,” “California,” “This Flight Tonight,” “River,” “A Case of You,” and “The Last Time I Saw Richard.” She has received critical praise after recording her version of Joni Mitchell’s album BLUE.

Meg Currell, Edge Media Network raves,“Clark’s voice is every bit as light and dancing as Mitchell’s, but her softer-‐edged high notes gave the songs a soul that drew me in. Clark’s openness and happiness on the stage is pure delight, the joy and empathy she has in and for Mitchell’s work coming out in every note. It is Clark’s shimmering personality that brings all of that beauty to life.”

Clark is an artist, traveler, musician, songwriter, singer, and actress originally from Kansas City, Missouri. She earned a Masters in Musical Theatre at San Diego State University and began her career as a concert artist and musical theatre performer. Clark has since performed major roles in theatres around the country. Clark performed the role of Elphaba in the First National Tour of the Broadway musical “Wicked” over 150 times in 35 major US cities. Clark now lives in Portland, Oregon with her incredible husband, beautiful daughter, and floppy dog.
