Grace McCune will again be offering a children’s chorus class at Orcas Center, beginning later this month.
The classes will be taught by McCune, an experienced children’s instructor as well as actress and singer. The class will meet weekly on Tuesdays, starting Oct. 20th at 3:30-4:30 p.m., and will run until December 8th.
The Childrens’ Chorus will learn holiday songs, will perform at places such as the Senior Center and at other holiday events, and kids in the chorus will have the opportunity to perform in Orcas Center’s production of “A Christmas Carol”, singing an original composition by Jim Bredouw.
The class costs $100.
McCune is also beginning a pop/rock chorus for adults and youth 16 and older. The “Rockin’ Out” Chorus meets from
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from October 20 – December 8.
This choral singing experience will be dedicated to singing songs by the Beatles, Abba and other popular singer-songwriters. The chorus will eventually be accompanied by a band.
Tuition is $50.00
