Candidates will debut their platforms this Saturday at the Pet Parade,starting from Orcas School at 11 a.m. and terminating at Eastsound Village Green
Four-legged celebrities and would-be politicians will lead the 21st Annual[intlink id=”12373″ type=”post”] Kaleidoscope Pet Parade[/intlink] this Saturday.
Candidates for the Mayor of Eastsound are Oliver, Grace, Pearl Boy, Paycey, Pogo and Ember. Votes can be cast at various location in town, or at www.oich.org
The Mayoral Campaign is a fund-raiser for Children’s House, a non-profit preschool early learning center here on Orcas. Votes may be purchased for a mere one dollar each.

Would you be so kind as to publish statements from the candidates? Something more than “woof” would be appreciated. For example, would any of them be willing to write a “State of the Island” article periodically the way Clara did?
