July 2nd & 3rd at 7:30 p.m. at the Sea View Theatre — Doors open at 6:30
— from Donna Laslo —
Matthew Laslo fell in love with the art of magic at seven years of age. Now at just 15 years old, he’s created his own full-length illusion show that includes varied styles of magic, from card miracles to grand illusions.
Laslo is a consummate performer who brings a youthful, fresh approach to the art of magic. “Magic is an art that demonstrates that life it not always what it seems. That is what is so fun for me. In my show I’ve updated some of the some classics of magic and created original material with more current and relatable props.
“I want my show to reflect what is relevant for audiences today,” he says. Laslo is a local, award-winning magician. He will make his TV debut on a national television network to be announced later in July. This TV series features some of the world’s finest magicians performing their best tricks in front of a live Las Vegas audience. “It was a blast” says Matthew, who was the youngest performer chosen from hundreds of contenders for a show that will air starting July 11.
MAGIC NOW has exciting new pieces, including Matthew’s original trick he created for the TV show. Joining him is his lovely and talented assistant Maria Bullock. MAGIC NOW is high-energy entertainment, with lots of audience participation and fun for the entire family! These shows sell out each year, so advance tickets are recommended. Tickets are a family friendly $10, available at Darvill’s’ Bookstore or online at Brown Paper tickets.com or click here: https://matthewlaslo.bpt. me/
