||| FROM DIANNE MACONDRAY for MASTER GARDENERS OF SAN JUAN COUNTY |||
What a spring – like none other! Now with flowers blooming and so much green we have hope for warmer days and a successful gardening season. But, sometimes our gardens betray our hard work and we find ourselves contending with adverse weather, voracious insects, bacterial and viral infestations and our own cultural errors.
However, the Master Gardeners of San Juan County will be able to help. There will be a Question and Answer Table at Driftwood Nursery the 3rd Wednesday of the month from May through September. May 18 from noon to 2 p.m. will be the first date to bring your problem plant specimen in a sealed plastic bag with your filled out “Problem Form” or “Plant/Insect ID Form” which can be downloaded HERE.
If you are unable to make it to the Nursery an alternate specimen and form drop off location is the Orcas Library front desk.
Happy Gardening!
