On Friday, June 13, 2014, a search warrant was executed by San Juan County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies, assisted by a Bellingham Police K-9 team at a Rosario area home on Orcas Island in connection with a drug investigation. The search resulted in the seizure of drugs, scales, packaging materials, cash, and firearms.
The 40-year old male resident of the home was arrested on several charges, including Violations of the Uniform Controlled Substances, Act and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He is being held in the San Juan County Jail pending a court appearance on Monday.
The arrest and service of the search warrant culminate an extensive investigation by detectives and deputies into activity in and around this residence.
