We are currently experiencing a large number of scam phone calls where the caller is stating he is Sgt. Peter of the Sheriff’s Office.
After stating the victim has an arrest warrant, they are demanding money be transferred to their account to prevent an arrest. If you get a phone call like this, DO NOT send them money.
